What Customers Say

We had a power outage in our office due to a microwave. Thoma Electric sent us Lonny, who was knowledgeable and kind. We were fortunate that he could come on the same day. He fixed it, checked the rest of the outlets, made recommendations for us to avoid it in the future (heavy kitchen appliance load needs to be spread out) and confirmed the rest of our circuit breaker was in good working condition. Thanks, Thoma Electric and Lonny for saving our business workload today.

Had a great experience with Thoma Electric. Had service Electrician Lonny come out to replace a light fixture on my ceiling. Lonny was prompt, friendly and an all around great person. He had the light fixture done in no time. Great company and great personnel!

We lost one leg of power to our mobile home over President’s Day weekend. Since the problem was related to the service pedestal and not our electrical panel our park manager called Thoma Electric to troubleshoot and repair the problem. John arrived ahead of the scheduled time and thoroughly diagnosed the issue until all necessary repairs were made. This entailed rebuilding the entire service pedestal including fabricating a part for the main culprit, the meter base. Within a couple of hours we were back in business and we are grateful to John and Thoma for their quick response and excellent work. 👍🏼👍🏼

A hairdryer that I had been using for nearly 2 years suddenly tripped a GFCI outlet, and generated a strong burnt plastic smell. I called Thoma Electric the next day and Jason Garcia came out the same day. It turned out the GFCI unit was badly burnt (see photo); I was one step away from an electrical fire that could have destroyed my home. Jason quickly replaced the burnt unit, then explained that my 2,000 watts hairdryer (commonly sold these days) generates a 16+ amp current that overloaded my 15 amp circuit. I appreciate his efficient work and also his taking the time to explain the problem. The $200 bill was gladly paid. Thank you, Mr. Jason Garcia!

I always go with Thoma at the building I manage in S.L O.. they serviced the building before I started there. So they knew the building. Everyone from the front office to the field techs, super friendly and easy to work with. Honestly, I just point out what needs fixed, then leave them alone. It gets done correctly and quickly. I will continue to go with them . If you want a good experience, use Thoma.
