“If you had a home built using this company then you need to get their work checked by a qualified electrician. They are incredibly rude (Tom and his lackeys) to anyone who challenges them and do NOT stand by their work. Check the cabinet under your sink, if this was the electrician your builder used, you may be in danger too. They do not respect their customers once they get paid and they do not have pride of workmanship. Disgraceful business practices. Update: I am pleasantly surprised to report they did the right thing and sent a senior tech out to evaluate and assess. He was very helpful, informative, and pleasant to interact with. He was the redeeming factor that I needed for the circumstances. The co-owners stepped up and made that happen. I have changed my rating as a result of the assessment. Keith found and replaced another concerning outlet as well as replaced the most recent outlet. Then he showed me how to check for more with a gadget I will be ordering today. There is some uncertainty when meeting in the middle if the recurring issue is from the original install or the original owners who did make multiple fixture changes as easily evidenced in images from the listing I purchased from. Update #2 After receiving no follow-up and being contacted by the builder’s warranty specialist, it has become clear that Powerhouse is not playing above-the-board. The saga of nonsense continues as outlets continue to overheat.”

“If Powerhouse Electric did the electrical work on your home, whether you hired them or your builder did I'd strongly recommend having an independent electrician inspect their work. A kitchen GFCI outlet kept tripping, killing power to 80% of the outlets in my kitchen even after the GFCI outlet itself was replaced. I eventually had an independent electrician come out, and what they found was alarming. A loose neutral connection at the breaker panel that was visibly burnt and five additional loose connections throughout. A genuine fire hazard sitting in my walls. I'm sharing this because loose connections and burnt wiring pose a serious risk to your home and your family's safety. If Powerhouse Electric did the electrical work on your home whether you hired them or your builder did I'd strongly recommend having an independent electrician inspect their work.”
