What Customers Say

Greenstar Power installed my solar system about 3 years ago. Since the installation, I have called for service for minor issues a few times. Each call was promptly resolved, with professional staff, within a few days of the service request. I highly recommend Greenstar Power if you are considering a solar system installation. This company has shown that they have your back after the sale and go out of their way to make things right. Terrific service. I highly recommend Greenstar Power. Thank You.

We are very pleased with our new solar set up. We’ve now been installed for a couple months so feel comfortable giving a full and honest review. We had solar on our previous home in Arlington so we were excited to go solar again, but excited that we were able to get a battery with this system. We were also happy that we were able to fit enough panels on our roof to produce the majority of our home’s power. They were very thorough throughout the entire process and stopped by multiple times to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you Cass and Dallin for doing a great job!

do NOT use this company. it’s a scam, they’ll tell you about the “buy down” option and that you’ll get $13k back the following year from tax returns and you don’t get that money. when i realized i was lied to, and asked Jacob, the seller, about it all of a sudden he said that he wasn’t a tax accountant and couldn’t give me advice on it. He came to my door and claimed to be military friendly because he was “prior” army. used that tactic and lied and tricked me into a 25 year contract. big big scam and not worth the money do not use them!! very predatory and shady

GreenStar Power knocked on my door attempting to sell me solar even though I clearly told their sales representative that I already have a signed contract with another solar company. According to GreenStar’s own statements, they claim to operate with honesty, transparency, and respect for homeowners’ decisions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. Rather than honoring the fact that I already had an agreement in place, their representative continued to push aggressively and attempted to persuade me to cancel my existing contract. They used scare tactics, claiming that the company I signed with was lying to me, trying to rip me off, or was a scam. None of that is true. I did my research before signing, and the company I chose is reputable. My experience with them so far has been professional and positive. GreenStar’s conduct directly contradicted the values they advertise. Disrespecting an existing signed agreement and attempting to undermine another company through fear and misinformation is not ethical or professional. Based on my experience, the statements on GreenStar Power’s website do not reflect how their sales representatives actually behave in the field. If you value transparency and respect as a customer, I would strongly encourage you to be cautious when dealing with GreenStar Power’s sales approach.

GreenStar’s conduct is utterly unacceptable, and I strongly advise against engaging with this company. Despite their claims of operating with honesty, transparency, and respect for homeowners’ decisions, my experience was entirely contrary. Their representative, Mike, was aggressively pushy. We expressed our desire to cancel the solar installation well before it began, but Mike insisted that since we had acquired a water softener, we were obligated to proceed. We clearly stated our preference to switch to another company and offered to pay Gary, the owner of the water softener company, for the system. However, Mike demanded a $14,000 cancellation fee for the solar installation, despite the fact that it was neither installed nor scheduled. GreenStar employed scare tactics, and whenever I raised concerns or issues, they promised internal investigations that never resulted in any resolution. Mike falsely guaranteed a tax credit that would be given to the company to reduce costs, which was misleading. Additionally, GreenStar’s claim that installing solars with them would eliminate the electricity bill was a blatant falsehood. Instead, we are now burdened with both a solar payment and an electricity bill. When we confronted Mike about this discrepancy, he dismissively stated that everything was functioning correctly and questioned why our bill was so high, which was incredulous. I urge you to save yourself the headache and choose a different company. We are currently in the process of seeking legal action against GreenStar. Their actions directly contradict the values they advertise, and conning homeowners through fear and misinformation is neither ethical nor professional.
