“I had an excellent experience with Carlos from AC Kives. He was able to diagnose my AC issue within minutes of arriving, and it was immediately clear he knew exactly what he was doing. He came fully prepared with the right equipment and quickly identified the root cause. Prior to calling him, I had been quoted $8,200 for a full system replacement, which was extremely concerning. Carlos took one look and explained that the issue was actually a clogged PVC drain line caused by improper ground height around it. He thoroughly flushed the line from the outside and then went inside to clean the coils and drain system. A significant amount of built-up rust and debris came out, and he made sure everything was flowing properly before finishing. After the cleaning, he rechecked the system to confirm everything was working correctly—and now my AC is cooling exactly as it should, without the need for an expensive replacement. What really stood out was his honesty and professionalism. He didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary, was completely upfront about the issue, and even followed up the next day to make sure everything was still running properly.
