What Customers Say
“Cedric is the best. Very kind and knowledgeable. I have used him several times to fix my AC. From blower motor to fan motor. Reasonable prices and reliability. He always tries to get to you ASAP.”
“I'm use to waiting for the service person, but when I got home and Mr. Sedrick Davis and his son was already here, diagnose and fix the problem. That's the kind of service I'm talking about. Very courteous neat and clean. I highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.”
“Chill Time AC & Heat is hands down the best! From the moment I called, their customer service was friendly and professional. The technician showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and got my system running perfectly. They worked quickly but didn’t cut corners, and the price was more than fair for the quality of work. My house feels so comfortable now it’s such a relief. I’ll definitely be using them again and recommending them to family and friends!”
“Used Chill Time a few years ago and they have contacted me a few times about servicing my AC unit for the winter/summer. I did not take them up on it as they did a standard $90 service charge and just told me "Dirty filter made it freeze up." When I suspected something was wrong and the 24x4 filter had been replaced three weeks ago and I suspected I needed duct work as I have been having a problem with the HVAC recirculating air in purge mode constantly and freezing up and not cooling the house properly. I was told by them and others it was due to dirty filters or outside unit causing the unit to freeze due to bad circulation. However after getting a couple overly high quotes for damper replacement with another company I went and diagnosed the system myself and found the manual/passive damper on the recirculation had been sabotaged sometime in the past so that instead of the weighted arm pointing down to close and letting air out if the system encountered pressure it had been unscrewed and was pointed up meaning it could only go left or right, both of which open the valve causing the unit to freeze. I have no idea which company or who did this. But none of them reported it to me as part of their inspections and service fee of the unit. Called me up asking why I left this review explained that this issues was present last time I called him out a year ago and since then I have had two other companies out and none of them checked the barometric pressure valve and he read back the invoice from when he blew out the line on the drain pan as it had flooded and how he could have done this, I counter I don't know who did this as there have been four companies out in as many such years and not one of them checked to make sure this arm was functioning. Told me that that the unit was not repaired and needed work still to which I countered that it only needed to be propped open until the ice on the coils evaporated and now the unit and dampers are working correctly and better than they have in the last few years. To which he continued to ask how I think he could have done this and I countered again I didn't think that he did it but instead that he and three other men all missed the sabotage on their inspections in the last two years, to which the question was again asked and I finally replied you know what at this point you convinced me! I think you did it now what? and he was aghast and hung up. Though that is impossible as he was one of the first companies I called out when the unit first froze up bad and the pan filled up with water. What struck with me however was he said he would have fixed the barometric bypass damper if he had been allowed to replace the other zone two dampers as originally planned but I made this review. How was he going to fix something he didn't even check or know about?”
“Im located in fort worth, but Mr.Davis was very knowledgeable and professional. I had gotten other opinions before, and Mr.Davis was the only one who knew what type of hvac unit i had and had my freon on hand. Rather than off the bat upselling and offering replacement, he fixed it in an hour and gave me all the info I needed. Came out so quickly after I called too, really felt like a priority to them. It was much more affordable and straightforward than some of those other bigger companies in the area. Thank you!!”
