What Customers Say

We purchased a new HVAC system from this company for approximately $15,000 just three years ago. At first, everything seemed fine, but within a few months the system wasn't performing properly. We were told the only solution was to cut a hole in our wall to increase airflow. We agreed because we trusted their expertise and didn't feel we had much of a choice. Unfortunately, that modification also made the system significantly louder every time it turns on. Now, only three years after installation, the unit stopped blowing cold air. After calling for service, we were told the condenser motor had failed. Although the part is covered under the manufacturer's warranty, we were then quoted nearly $900 in labor to replace it. For a system that cost $15,000 and is only three years old, this is extremely disappointing. A major component shouldn't fail this early, and charging nearly $900 to install a warranty-covered part feels unreasonable. As the company that sold and installed the system, I expected them to stand behind their work and provide better customer service. Based on our experience, the quality of the installation, the reliability of the system, and the cost of warranty repairs have all been disappointing. I hope the company reconsiders how it handles customers who have made a significant investment in their products.

Roque Lopez and Caleb Juengel at Alaskan AC were fantastic to work with. They replaced the motor on my AC unit quickly and at a very fair price. Roque was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The pricing saved me the hassle of dealing with multiple companies and getting additional quotes. From start to finish, the staff was courteous and easy to work with. The repair was completed efficiently, and my AC is running great again. I highly recommend Roque Lopez and Caleb at Alaskan AC to anyone looking for honest service, fair pricing, and quality work.

Caleb recently serviced our air conditioner, and I can't recommend him enough! He was friendly, thorough, and demonstrated impressive knowledge about the system. He quickly identified and addressed a couple of minor issues while providing helpful tips for optimal performance. Overall, Caleb made the process seamless, and our AC is running better than ever!

I had a tech scheduled to come out, 15 minutes before the end of the scheduled window (3 hours) I get a text saying he’ll be another 30 minutes. I tell him I won’t be and that I waited my whole evening already and couldn’t wait any longer and that the appointment would have to be rescheduled. I told him I would be open to a phone call the following day to discuss pricing, he asks what time and I do not see the message until the following day while I am at work. I texted the tech and told him between 10-11 (my lunch time) and he calls me as soon as I sent that message (while im working). During the call I mention this and he said he would call me between the hours I told him, I didn’t get a call. I call the office at about 1115 and they said he got busy and would call within the hour. I waited two hours before calling back and telling them that I just wanted to cancel my appointment all together and that I would be choosing someone else, the office person on the phone said they could escalate the call with a supervisor from Phoenix and asked if I’d be willing to wait for that call. I scheduled a time, and the supervisor from Phoenix did call me when I was told he would. I explained everything to him and I was told he would give me the best pricing for the poor communication/customer service I had received so far. While talking to the supervisor, I felt he wasn’t truly listening to the concerns I shared with him and that he was just trying to end the call. When he gave me his best price for the unit I was looking at, it was over $3,000 more than what I had been quoted by two other companies. The supervisor then said if I send the quotes he would see what he could do about price matching them, I told him I was no longer interested and would go somewhere else. Overall my personal experience with company has been very poor. I would not recommend them anyone for maintenance or system replacement.

Alaskan are life savers and were able to install a new AC unit next day for me. Woody was a friendly, straightforward, and accomodating sales guy. Toby and the guys who assisted him did an excellent job on the install. The unit is high quality and working great! Couldn't be happier.
