“Where to begin… When I called to schedule in February, the woman on the phone talked me into pre paying $600 for all of my services, and guaranteed a green lawn by middle of summer. They did one treatment and I had to ask 2 times for another service since the weeds completely took over by April. They finally made it out and didn’t even hit all of the areas in my yard. They also said they would text when in route, but never did and my dog almost got out. I asked again when my lawn would be seeded and they said I never paid for the service. I couldn’t believe it. They said I only paid for weed control and nutrients. I don’t know how they were planning on giving me a green yard of grass without seeding. I did aeration on my own and told them that, since they wanted to charge me another $200, and told them when so my yard would be ready for seeing. I ended up getting a partial refund for my remaining services since none of this was as expected or promised at my initial phone call. The refund took me 3 times reaching out, only to find out there was a credit put on my account, but I had to ask 3 times for the actual refund to be processed. I’m still waiting on the rest, they said they would refund a specific amount and then took out a lot for a service fee.”

“Wanted to update and adjust my last review. Since this incident, they've been on time and have come through with what I pay for. Company is hit or miss. Some years, they're prefect and would recommend them to everyone. Others, like this year. I'd recommend you stay far, far away!! Had my 3rd svc applied yesterday and the next day I go out to see my lawn and it's starting to wither and die in several spots. Called customer service and they don't have anyone available to come assess my lawn. Gentleman over the phone just said to try and soak application. No advice on how long or much. We're hitting 100+ temps here, so that info would be helpful. Hopefully soaking works. Plus where I live , waters not cheap. Maybe truegreen will do the right thing and compensate me for the extra water usage.”

“Just signed up for a year's worth of service due to yellow patches in my yard and a suffering tree. Signing up was fairly easy online, but knowing the appointment just a day before it was to happen and the 'day-of' communications were a little frustrating. In looking into it a little deeper, I found that the appointments can always be rescheduled, even the same day, without penalty. Also, once the technician comes to your place, they can answer any questions you have. Our rep, Raymond S., in El Paso, is great. I hope we are able to have him as our only TruGreen tech going forward. He injected fertilization at the roots for our trees and bushes and applied sulfur to our lawn. Super nice guy with efficient service. Highly recommended! Since this was the first application, I'll have to update this with photos in a couple of months so that we can see the difference before and after. Addendum on 4/4/23: It's been almost a year with TruGreen. Their techs are all pretty great, work quickly and the pictures speak for themselves. We also signed up for a quarterly service where they spray your landscaping rocks with a weed deterrent (that turns them blue-green for a couple of days) that totally prevents weeds from growing in your landscaping. I'd like to keep their services based on the results. We have happy trees/bushes and a lush lawn with insect control. Our landscaping looks great. Very satisfied and worth the cost.”

“I have been with True Green for over 10 years and my parents for 20 prior. We have an 80 year Chinese elm that is one of the few left still standing from the original home owners in the neighborhood. True Green has kept the tree (all my trees) healthy! Raymond the treatment specialist has gone above and beyond to ensure their growth and success.”

“Do not use TruGreen. They used to be fantastic. Now, they have visited, charged me, then done nothing (they didn’t realize I was home), and recently they killed off sections of my lawn. Terrible. See the photos of my lawn before and after.”
