What Customers Say

Michael the Owner went the extra mile to help us build out our retail pharmacy. He was very attentive to detail and priced his services fairly. Great down to earth guy to work with. Call him today for your projects!

I highly recommend Keen Painting and Renovations! Michael went above and beyond my expectations. The quality of his work is excellent! The price he quoted was very reasonable compared to other businesses in the area. He is friendly, respectful, and professional. I look forward to doing future business with Keen Painting and Renovations!

I'd just recently met Michael Henthorn when he came to the store to get materials for a job he was doing close by. He correctly noted that our parking lot could use a refresh and offered to do it for a more than reasonable price. Michael showed up on time and did the job exactly as promised. His attitude and sincerity really made my day.

Wow! I found an honest painting contractor who listened carefully and wanted to do exactly what I wanted. He sanded and prepared all surfaces until smooth and used drop cloths and tape to protect areas not to be painted. He painted my old steel casement windows beautifully. The trick was that I wanted them not painted shut. I wanted them to function as they did in the 1930s. Mike is very professional and very respectful as well. After he had been paid, he came back to work on them some more. He’s very special, dependable, and patient. I am recommending him wholeheartedly to everybody. I will always call him for every home project I have.

I’d like to share my experience with Jimmy. It was after dark the other night and I had come over 100 miles to buy a trailer for my business. The trailer was great, but when I hooked up to it, it had some kind of electrical problem that didn’t appear when it was on the sellers truck. I couldn’t see that the lights would come on then shut off, but Jimmy saw it from the fast food restaurant next door and came over to help. He said he’d had issues on trailers before and offered to help. I thought maybe I could get it ( I’ve had some real fine motor skill issues in my hands now for about 3 months since I had a re-bout of Covid and I knew I’d struggle with any wiring), but Jimmy insisted…..and I’m glad he did! He worked on it but the brakes got stuck, so after we freed them, he insisted of having me follow him to another store where I could get a part. Not only did he insist on fixing the issue (and this is well after dark), he offered to get me something to eat. He got me wired up. I offered to pay him, but he declined several times, saying he wanted to help where he could. He got me back on the road! I couldn’t be more thankful. It’s EXTREMELY REFRESHING to see people with this kind of moral character and willingness to help these days. It honestly gives me some hope for this world. Of course he’s a VETERAN and I’m not surprised. Personally, I want to do business with this kind of person. Character DOES COUNT……maybe more than ever. Jimmy I am eternally grateful for your help! Thank you again and God bless.
