“I wish I could give 0 stars. He prides himself on giving the lowest bid, only seeming to find ways to get more money once he starts. He is dishonest and unprofessional. He makes promises he does not keep. He is very difficult to communicate with. His work is not up to code, he is not thorough with his estimates, his work is sloppy, he cuts corners. If you hire him, be prepared for disappointment. I asked him to stop the job after just 2 days because after giving him $2,000, half upfront, he wanted $876 more to continue. His guys had only worked for 2 days buying just a few sheets of plywood and 4- 2x6 boards. Plywood was wrong type and beams were wrong size. They were not installed correctly either. He also did not recommended demo of shower floor indicating rotten wood in corner did not need to be replaced. His workers broke toilet flange on second day. After asking repeatedly for itemized list of materials and labor, he refused. No justification for $2,876 for only 8 hours of work and minimal materials. I have filed a complaint with the BBB asking for full refund. His account was also recently suspended with BBB due to prior complaint from another customer. I was unaware of this when I hired him as just months ago, his BBB rating was good. He promised half of my money back but even with requests and reminders over 3 weeks, still nothing. Save yourself a headache.”
