What Customers Say

Lopez Painting and Remodeling did a great job updating our kitchen. They repainted the cabinets and ceiling and also removed the old fluorescent light frame, giving the space a much more modern look. The team was professional, efficient, and kept everything clean throughout the project. We’re very satisfied with the results and would consider using their services again.

Horrible painter. He stated he would prime my doors before painting with latex, he didn't so the doors and trim is peeling. He said he would be careful painting as I had new flooring throughout home he didn't and was very sloppy. Some places are actually missing paint on the wall. My door handles are full of paint. He didn't paint one bathroom or three doors downstairs. He rushed the job. I paid a fortune for the worse "professional" paint job I've ever seen. I could have saved $5k and painted it myself a lot better than him. He did such a horrible job then when I asked him to complete the work, he wanted me to buy more paint. WTH! OH and the extra paint from the job, well he says it turned over in his SUV and he had to have his rugs in the SUV replaced. Not my problem. I would never recommend him to anyone. And he stole my expensive barber scissors because he used them to cut the paint out of my carpet.

I explained to him the drywall repair over the phone in great detail and sent him various photos of my home. I suggested he see the job to avoid confusion. He said it was fine he didn’t have much work and gave me a price over the phone. He shows up with a girl who doesn’t know construction and they both spend most of the day only finishing replacing one sheet of drywall and adding tape and mud to it. He insisted on partial payment and wanted cash only. I had a feeling he was not going to return anymore and my suspicions where correct. BEWARE…

Manuel and his crew are FANTASTIC!!! They painted our kitchen cabinets & ceiling after removing the box frame that went around our fluorescent lighting! Beautiful and professional job, our kitchen looks new after 30 years. They are caring, friendly, helpful, reasonable, very professional, neat and tidy and go above and beyond!!! Who does that now days?!!! Lopez Painting and Remodeling does! We highly recommend them and will definitely be hiring them again. I guarantee you’ll be happy you hired them.❤️

TERRIBLE, HORRID! I hired Mr. Walter López last June to paint the entire interior of my house. The house was empty because we were just about to move in, so the job was easier and faster. Even so, he left me with paint splatters everywhere: floors, carpets, mirrors, sinks, stove, kitchen sink, toilets, bathtubs, etc. I'm still finding paint stains. He has no idea how much paint he uses per job. He made me spend a fortune on paint that I don't even need. He asked me to buy 15 gallons of paint to paint the living room and kitchen, but I only need 5 gallons. Now I have 10 gallons of paint that I can't return because it's non-returnable. I asked him to paint my children's bedrooms with a striped design down the center, and he did a terrible job in one of the rooms. The stripes were all uneven; it looked like a 5-year-old's work. It took me a whole day trying to straighten them out. He never warned us that he only accepts cash. We were going to pay by check or credit card because we didn't want to withdraw such a large amount from the bank, but he demanded cash (probably to evade taxes). He brought six workers to my house; some seemed to be trusted, and others were new (supposedly), but one of them stole the tools my father had brought to the house. I asked Mr. López not to let anyone touch those tools while we weren't home, but every time we arrived, all the tools were out of place, taken without permission. Eventually, several valuable items disappeared (drill, pliers, wrenches, etc.). The day after he finished his "work," I noticed that my daughter's bathroom had been painted two different colors. When I called him to ask him to help me fix his mistake, he said he didn't have time and would contact me later. I tried contacting him for over a month, and he was always rude and curt. I asked him in every way possible to come and fix his mistake, since I had already paid him on time and in full, and the right thing to do was for him to finish what he left unfinished. His response was to block me on Messenger and his phone. So I'm sharing my experience so that others don't fall for this guy.
