“I couldn’t be happier with my enclosed platoon. Handyman connection of cedar park and Hayder did an amazing job. There were on top of it in every little detail making sure all my requests are met. High quilts, good communication and quilts of work. Keep up the good work. Thank you.”
“They did great job replacing my old wood garage attic ladder to aluminium one. They dis great job framing and installing. They paid great attention to detail and did great finish. So thankful for their great communication and their craftsmanship.”
“I had a great experience with Handyman Connection installing my light fixtures. The technician did a great job, very helpful, clean in his work, and nice to work with. Everything was installed perfectly and looks great. On top of that, their pricing was incredibly reasonable—honestly hard to beat for the quality of work. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again.”
“TL:DR - Easy to schedule, reasonably priced, friendly customer service team, out weighed by an exasperated and reluctant craftsman, and ultimately threatened with an $80 cancellation fee. I have some small gaps around a gas pipe under my kitchen cabinets I wanted to seal so I called Handyman Connection. Lisa, the woman I spoke to on the phone about scheduling, was incredibly nice and so was Calvin, who came by to give us the quote. I was told it was a simple job, under an hour, tear out some of the brittle drywall, spray some fire resistant foam and cut away the excess, $150. Scheduling was fast and easy. These are the sole reason I'm giving them more than one star. Unfortunately Isaiah, the person who showed up to do the work, didn't continue the trend. As soon as I opened to door to greet him he let a big frustrated sigh. No hello or introduction or anything like that. I asked him to come in, and told him we had shoe covers for him and a stool to sit on to put them on if he didn't mind, and again a big frustrated sigh. He clearly didn't want to be here. I asked him if he knew what he needed to know for the job, he said quite simply "no" so I showed him to the area, told him the work that was quoted and he told me that wasn't possible, that he would need to do more involved changes to prevent restricting access to the gas line. I reiterated the work that was explained to me to make sure I didn't give the wrong impression of what I was told from the quote, and he told me he'd been doing this a long time, he knows what he's talking about. I said that's fine, I'm not trying to argue, if what you need to do is more than the quote then let me know so we get something sorted. Again, frustrated sigh, but then he took a closer look and eventually agreed that what was quoted was possible. He went out to his truck to get the foam and caulk, came back in, the foam didn't work and he said he needed to go to home depot to get working foam and just left. I wasn't sure if he was coming back same day or what, so I called their office and explained that I thought this was going to be relatively quick so I wasn't going to be available to wait, but more importantly I was uncomfortable having someone in my home who so clearly didn't want to be there, and disagreed with the original quoted assessment. Lisa offered to send someone else the following day, but I thought it might be best to get a second opinion on what was required given Isaiah initial response. I was called back about 5 to 10 minutes later by another man who lectured me on why they may be late to a job (an issue I never complained about), and why the craftsman could have a different opinion on the required work. I tried to explain I was more concerned the attitude and lack of professionalism Isaiah displayed, but he refused to give me a moment to speak so I simply said I wasn't comfortable having him in my home any further. The man on the phone said fine, they'll just have to charge me a cancellation fee, which I agreed to pay, and then he hung up.”
“This is the first time I used Handyman Connection of Cedar Park and it won’t be the last. I was very impressed with their response time, professionalism and quality of work. Isaiah Woodruff was the craftsman that did the work and he did an outstanding job. I highly recommend this company for all of your handyman needs.”
