“We had an issue with our water heater and called Vaquero, they were fantastic from start to finish. The technician arrived on time, was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. We’ll definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs!”

“I called to get a quote for fixing my toilet that intermittently ran. I tried swapping out the flapper myself but that wasn’t the issue. I had to replace the flush valve if I wanted to stop the phantom drain. I explained this all to the person on the phone. The person I spoke to was friendly and offered a free in-person quote. They were very accommodating to my schedule and allowed me to change the arrival window multiple times. When the plumber came he suggested to swap out the complete set in the toilet tank for over $500. I was shocked. The parts are $25 at Home Depot and it typically takes 20-30 minutes. I asked about just swapping out the flush valve and he quoted me over $300. Too steep for a 30 minute job. I ended up getting a complete toilet repair kit from Home Depot for $25, watched a YouTube video, and did it all myself in 30 minutes. Saved me $500. I was expecting that hiring someone to switch out the tank components would cost $150-200, which is reasonable for a quick job. If anyone gets a quote higher than this I recommend going with another company or just fixing it yourself… it’s actually easy!”
