“Unreliable. This company was assigned to repair our a/c unit by my home warranty company. I called made an appointment. They said they would call in the morning to give me a window for arrival. I didn't hear from them by lunch so I called the. No one answered so I left a voicemail. I waited 2 hours and they still didn't call. So I called my home warranty company. They tried to call them and they got their voicemail to. This is the 2nd time I've experienced this with them. I will not accept another service ticket with them.”

“My A/C quit in the heat of the day in July and here in Texas at that, I called J-Star Services and within 2 hours had someone out to my home and my air conditioning running again thank you Tracy and J-Star Services for being fast, friendly, and thankfully affordable.”

“I had a fantastic experience with J-star. They helped us install a new water heater, a sink, and four shampoo bowls, and I was honestly blown away by how quickly they got everything done. The team was incredibly professional and respectful of our space.”

“The builder we purchased our house from hired this company to install the A/C and plumbing in 2024. Around September of 2024, we asked them to come out and check the A/C because it was not cooling properly. I was given excuses from my ceilings are too high to my blinds not being thick enough. In April of this year, we discovered a leak in the wall because the A/C drain was not glued, and we had to call another company because J Star was not answering the phone. We were told by emergency plumber (separate company) that it looked as if it had been leaking inside the walls since it was first turned on. I had to have an additional company come out and dry out the walls and ensure there was no mold. J Star came out to glue the drain pipe, but did not have anyone repair the holes in my wall, it was like that for a month until we had it repaired by a different company! During summer, we had to have a different A/C company come out and determine why the A/C was not cooling properly only to be told the air return was not properly installed and the cooling efficiency was low as a result. J Star sent a different company out to correct the return which slightly fixed the A/C, but did not help enough. After having another A/C company come out. It was discovered that J Star left the limited warranty paperwork in the A/C coils!!! We are out $1300 because of J Star, and we have tried to be gracious and allow them time to reimburse us, but after 8 months of excuses, enough is enough. I do not recommend this company to anyone.”

“Jim the owner came and made the service call today to repair my AC. He was very nice and professional. He explained what apparently happened to cause the AC to stop working and luckily it was an easy fix. Not many companies would work on a holiday nor would the owner be out making sure their customers are taken care of. He even helped me close all the windows I had open once the AC was up and running. 😁 thank you Jim for being so thorough in your work to ensure all was working properly and taking care of your customers. Definitely a company I would recommend and use again.”
