“When I broke a bolt down deep inside its shaft and broke off an allen bit in the head of another, I tried everything I could to get them both out to no avail having only the tools in my garage. So I called no fewer than 10 machine shops in the area for help. The first 8 numbers I called provided by Google Maps were either no longer in service, failed to answer, or had full voice mailboxes - all during regular business hours. The 9th shop answered but declined to help. I just wasn't big enough business for them to bother with a guy in his garage. JD Machine was my 10th attempt, and Tom answered my call immediately. He even provided suggestions on the off chance I could solve the issue on my own. I couldn't, but arranged to take the offending part to him the next day. JD Machine is no longer located on the east side, now they're over by the casino in Sunland Park on Victory Ln. The day after that Tom called back to say the problems were solved. No fuss, no screwing around. Just a job done well and done quickly. I'll have no qualms taking my next project to JD Machine should I ever get stuck again.”
